Boise Phil Master Chorale
A community
of voices.
From a performance of Handel’s Messiah to collaborations across Boise’s arts community, explore the Chorale’s story.
The Chorale’s story began with a performance of Handel’s Messiah alongside the Boise Philharmonic Orchestra. That tradition remains part of a program that brings established choral works and new musical ideas to the Treasure Valley.
A shared musical purpose.
Choral singing asks each musician to listen, prepare, and contribute to a shared sound. Through rehearsal and performance, Chorale members develop their artistry within a committed musical community.
Part of Boise’s arts community.
Alongside performances with the Boise Phil, the Chorale has collaborated with Boise Baroque Chamber Orchestra, Ballet Idaho, Idaho Dance Theatre, Opera Idaho Children’s Chorus, Treasure Valley Concert Band, Boise State University Symphonic Orchestra, and other local choruses.
Appearances at Boise Music Week and opportunities for area high school singers reflect the Chorale’s connection to education and outreach. Bringing choral music to new audiences is part of its ongoing role in the community.
