Handel’s Messiah
A timeless Boise holiday tradition featuring guest artists and the Boise Phil Master Chorale at the Cathedral of the Rockies.
Behind the music
About this performance
Richard Hutton leads the Boise Phil Master Chorale, orchestra, and featured soloists in Handel’s Messiah at the stunning Cathedral of the Rockies in Downtown Boise. From the radiant “For Unto Us a Child Is Born” to the triumphant “Hallelujah” Chorus, this beloved masterpiece fills the cathedral with soaring voices, brilliant orchestral color, and the spirit of the season. Saturday’s special one-hour, family-friendly matinee offers a shorter introduction to the work for families and anyone who prefers a more compact concert experience. Soloists to be announced.
