Frequently asked questions

Wine Passport · 2026/27 Season

What does the wine passport give me?

The offers vary by winery, but a few examples include one free tasting, one half price tasting, buy one get one free tasting, etc.

Other Benefits include:

  • Invitations to select intimate performances by Boise Phil ensembles. As part of the Wine Passport program, our winery partners are invited to host a Boise Phil ensemble at their location during the season. We are excited that many of our partners are taking advantage of this opportunity! Dates and details for these performances will be announced via email to all Boise Phil Wine Passport holders.
  • Supporting the Boise Phil while also helping us be good neighbors to other businesses throughout the Treasure Valley.
  • Helping build community by connecting the Boise Phil with local wineries and wine businesses.
  • Contributing to the local creative economy—wine making is an art form, too!

If I’m already a member at one or more of these wineries, will the passport give me something more than what I already receive?

Yes and no, if you’re already a member at multiple wineries and thus already receive free tastings or discounts, you could bring a friend who could use the Boise Phil Wine Passport offer at that particular winery. Or you could prioritize visiting the wineries where you are not already a member and use the passport as an opportunity to discover new wines in our community. The other benefits of purchasing a Boise Phil Wine Passport are listed above.

Does the passport give me discounts on wine purchased at Boise Phil performances?

The passport does not provide discounts on wine purchased at Boise Phil performances. Rather, it provides discounts and special offers exclusively at the 12 wineries and wine businesses that are our 2026–27 Season Wine Partners.

What is my $100 going towards?

Your $100 donation helps the Boise Phil present inspiring concerts and performances year-round, support local musicians and guest artists, provide music education programs to thousands of students, and make classical music accessible to all through community outreach.

Is my $100 donation considered charitable/tax deductible?

Yes, every Boise Phil Wine Passport Holder will receive an emailed receipt listing their donation that can be used for tax purposes.

How will I receive my passport?

Passports purchased during the pre-sale (purchased prior to October 10) can be picked up in the Morrison Center lobby at the first Symphonic Concert of the season, Beethoven’s 7th. If you are unable to pick up your passport at Beethoven’s 7th, or forget to do so, it will be mailed to you.

Passports purchased after the pre-sale will be mailed to you. If you have not yet received your passport in the mail and are attending a Symphonic Concert at the Morrison Center, you may pick it up at the concert (i.e. you purchase the passport the day before the concert and you are attending, otherwise it will be mailed the following week)

Does the passport expire?

Yes, the passport expires at the end of the 2026–27 Season, on May 31, 2027.

Can I use each offer more than once?

Each offer can only be used once. The passport includes a perforated tear-off for each wine partner, which the winery or wine business will collect when you redeem the offer.
