Aled Roberts

Aled is a violinist, teacher, and composer who has created film scores for award-winning short and feature films. His education and experience in violin comes from teachers Marcia von Huene, Jill Rowley, Geoffrey Hill, and Paula Stern, as well experience playing in New York University’s chamber music program and Repertory Orchestra, the Greenwich Village Orchestra, Meridian Symphony, and Boise Philharmonic. Aled has composed music for films produced for The New York Times, The New Yorker, and International Justice Mission, and seen at Tribeca Film Festival, SXSW Film Festival, Palm Springs International Film Festival, AFI Docs, and DOC NYC. Aled teaches orchestra, guitar, and music theory at Ridgevue High School in Nampa and continues composing music for films and performing in the Boise area.
