Caroline Wilkins joined the Boise Philharmonic as principal harp in 2024. She won first prize in the prestigious American Harp Society national competition, and was the AHS touring “Concert Artist” for 2019-2021. She frequently presents recitals, masterclasses, and lectures throughout the United States including the University of North Texas, Brigham Young University, and West Virginia University. She currently serves as administrator of the AHS National Competition. Caroline won the 2018 Concerto Competition at Music Academy of the West, having attended as a fellow for three years. Her resume includes Principal Harpist for the American Youth Symphony, the Debut Chamber Orchestra, Downey Symphony, and substitute for the New World Symphony. She has performed under the baton of world famous conductors Gustavo Dudamel, Esa-Pekka Salonen, James Conlon, and Alan Gilbert, and in the iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall. A native of Southern California, Caroline holds a Master of Music in Performance and Bachelor of Music in Performance from the University of Southern California. In addition to her love of music, Caroline and her husband are thrilled to be raising and homeschooling their two beautiful daughters.
