Lindsay Edwards is currently the acting English horn player in the Hawaii Symphony. She also holds the English horn chair in the Boise Philharmonic. She is an active chamber musician highlighting works for the English horn and arranging and commissioning works for her duo with harpist Matthew Tutsky. In 2014, in collaboration with Mr. Tutsky, she began a series called Modern Classics where instrumentation, arrangements and staging of chamber works are rethought in order to create more engaging performances. The result has been a completely fresh and dynamic presentation of classical works. For the 2015/16 season she was awarded a grant by the Idaho Commission on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts for artistic excellence. She holds two degrees in oboe performance from the Thornton School of Music at The University of Southern California.
