Invite a Boise Phil conductor to your ensemble rehearsal for coaching, fresh ideas, and focused musical work. Visits are especially valuable for older or more advanced ensembles, and musicians at every skill level can benefit.

Work on what matters
to your musicians.
Your school ensemble director sets the focus. Choose the support that will make the greatest difference for your group.
Ensemble coaching
Explore rehearsal techniques, ensemble sound, balance, phrasing, rhythm, and musical interpretation.
String instruction
Build bowing, articulation, tone production, intonation, and other string techniques through demonstrations and hands-on coaching.
Choral instruction
Work on vocal technique, breath support, diction, vowels, intonation, blend, balance, and ensemble sound.
Clinics & sectionals
Focus on the musical and technical needs of an orchestra or an individual instrument section.
Rehearsal strategies
Find practical ways to use rehearsal time well, diagnose ensemble challenges, and build stronger student musicians.
Performance preparation
Prepare for concerts, festivals, assessments, and other special performances through guest conducting and coaching.

A little planning
for a better rehearsal.
Share a few details so we can find the right conductor and make the most of your time together.
1. Offer a few dates.
Include three to five preferred visit dates and times in your request. If your preferred conductor is unavailable, we’ll work with you to find another time.
2. Shape the rehearsal.
Have your visit plan ready at least two weeks before the visit. Share the pieces and excerpts, rehearsal schedule, areas for improvement, and whether the conductor will lead all or part of the rehearsal.
3. Help us find our way.
Provide parking and building-entry instructions, and let your front office know that a conductor will be visiting.

STUDENT GROUPS
Bring your ensemble
to the concert hall.
Student group tickets are $19 each. Receive one complimentary teacher or chaperone ticket for every 10 student tickets purchased.
All group reservations are made through the Box Office. Call Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.
INDIVIDUAL STUDENTS
Students of any age can purchase $19 tickets in advance for most performances with a valid student ID. The price includes tax and facility fees.
