Nothing sparkles like Mozart. We open our 22-23 season with a pair of works by this glittering genius – his dramatic-yet-playful Overture to Don Giovanni and the elegant and sunny Violin Concerto No. 3. Then, hear one of the true gems of the repertoire: Tchaikovsky’s passionate Sixth Symphony. A musical portrait of the human condition, the Sixth is a tug-of-war between joy and sorrow, life and death, control and fate, pain and pleasure. Tchaikovsky called this symphony, “the best thing I have composed.” Come hear for yourself.

I’ve noticed Boise Phil isn’t performing the Classics Series in Nampa. Why?

Our Classics Series performances in Nampa are paused due to low ticket sales in that region. We care deeply about the West Treasure Valley and want to ensure that our programming is accessible to all – our classroom education programs, community engagement and other special performances will continue in Nampa and across the entire West Valley.
