New to town? Not sure if you like classical music? Haven’t been to Bogus Basin this summer? Grab your family and friends – pack a picnic and your lawn chairs – and let’s celebrate the power of music and nature together. The Boise Phil and Bogus Basin have partnered for a FREE community concert at Bogus Basin. Hear Boise Phil musicians perform works by composers inspired by nature and local composers David Alan Earnest and Jim Cockey.

No ticket is necessary. See you on the mountain!

Concert Description

Music is unique in its ability to transport us to the far-flung wonders of our world without leaving our seats. Join us for our first community concert of the season, and let a string trio transport you to the mythical battlefields and imaginary islands of ancient Greece. Soak in the warmth of the tropics and breathe in the scent of paradise with a Bermudian brass quintet. And contemplate the future of our natural world with music that poses questions about science, climate and the unique peril of our time.
