Boise Phil Youth Orchestras
Under the direction of Music Director, Jennifer Drake the Boise Phil Youth Orchestra (BPYO) is a joy to hear and to be a part of. BPYO has two orchestras, the Symphonic Orchestra and the Concert Orchestra made up of over 160 young musicians who receive professional ensemble training and coaching from the Boise Phil principal players. The youth orchestra is open to woodwind, brass, percussion, and string students in 9th-12th grade by audition only.
Jennifer Drake
Inspired by the power of music to connect people, ideas and communities, Jennifer Drake is a conductor, violist, teacher, clinician, and camp director. Jennifer is known for her versatility, humor, and energy and is the Music Director for the Boise Philharmonic Youth Orchestra.
