I attended Pacific Lutheran University, where I studied under David Hoffman. Subsequently, I obtained a graduate degree in cello performance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison under Parry Karp. I was a member of the string quartet in residence at Lake Hotel in Yellowstone National Park for two summers. I was involved in coaching for the Madison Youth Symphony and taught on faculty for the Univ. of Wisconsin summer music clinic. I have been a member of the Madison Symphony, the Fort Collins Symphony, Greeley Philharmonic, Northwest Symphony, and Bellevue Philharmonic. I am a founding member of Trebelle, a piano trio formed in 2012, bringing the best in piano trio repertoire to the Treasure Valley.

What other instruments do you play? Piano

What is your favorite composer/genre? I enjoy the clarity and spiritual elevation of the music of the Baroque composers, including Bach and Handel, but I also love a passionate, romantic symphony (Tchaikovsky, Sibelius!).

Tell us a little about yourself (hobbies, interests, etc.): I enjoy running, hiking, skiing, mountain biking, camping, and hot springs. I enjoy spending time with my kids in the Idaho outdoors. I also work in the field of medical/clinical genetics.
